What We’re Looking For

Branding

We are looking for vendors with exceptional brands.
This includes your online presence, retail store presence (if applicable) and your product packaging/presentation.

Booth Styling

Creating an impressive experience to shoppers is very important to us. We will be selecting individuals that we feel will create booths with the strongest visual execution.

Originality

We want individuals who are pushing the boundaries of handmade artistry.

Product Overlap

We want to make sure that our collection of vendors is rich with diversity. This means that in some cases, even if you/your product is amazing, there may be a chance that we just have too many of your type.

New Blood

We want to bring in outside talent from neighboring cities/states. We feel this will greatly heighten the artistic conversation in Omaha and the experience of our event.

Midwest Fest has grown substantially over the years and there are SO many impressive makers that apply every year. That said, in an effort to make each vendor as successful as possible, we do limit the number of makers that we host.

That means that we have to turn away some of the baddest/raddest makers around. It stinks, but that doesn’t mean that you aren’t awesome and should keep going! It is literally a strategy that we implement to make our makers successful.

What types of goods will you be selling?

These photos should represent the impressive shopping experience that you will
create with your booth set up. These photos should also showcase the variety of
products that you will be selling at the event.

Food / Beverage Booth Sizes
To be a Food / Beverage vendor at Midwest Fest you are required
to apply for Douglas County Temporary Food Permit. The permit is approximately $74
that Midwest Fest will then invoice you for in addition to the participant fee.
If you are approved as a vendor we will send you the form and the process will
be completed through Midwest Fest.
To be an alcohol vendor at Midwest Fest you are required to apply for your SDL permit.
The permit is approximately a $40 per day fee that Midwest Fest will then invoice you for
in addition to the participant fee. Depending on what type of drinks you are serving you
may also have to apply for the Douglas County Temporary Food Permit. The permit is
approximately $74 that Midwest Fest will then invoice you for as well. If you are approved
as a vendor we will send you all necessary information to obtain the SDL

Vendor Booth Sizes*
If you select the shared booth option, you may request to
share a 10x10 booth with a specific vendor who also is applying to be a part
of our event. Please write us a note in the “Additional Notes” section below
and specify which vendor you want to share the booth with. Note that if you
both are not accepted, we will pair you with another accepted participant
with complementary work.
